Geely has been aggressively expanding its dealer network over the past several months, and it is now opening yet another showroom. This time around, though, the Chinese carmaker is going digital.
Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) has just announced that its new virtual showrooms are now officially open to cater to its customers amid this enhanced community quarantine in Greater Manila. Two new websites are now operational: One for the recently-opened Geely Makati and another for Geely North EDSA, the two dealerships under the direct management of SGAP.
Through the dealership websites, visitors may view all models in Geely’s local lineup. Potential buyers can check out both the exterior and interior of each vehicle along with the corresponding specifications and complete price lists.
Customers will also be able to chat with sales agents and even carry out their transactions for brand-new purchases through these websites. Existing customers, meanwhile, may book service appointments or apply for car insurance online as well.
“Just as we were expecting for a solid economic rebound after many businesses including the auto industry were brought to a grinding halt, it seems like we would have to endure more and adapt further to the new normal. Our bid to continue serving our valued customers without putting their safety at risk during these times continues,” said SGAP president and CEO Mikihisa Takayama. “Geely customers may shop for Geely vehicles in the comfort of their own homes. Now more than ever, we see a growing worldwide trend for online shopping which now includes passenger vehicles.”
SGAP says more dealer websites will be launched in the coming months, so expect to see more of these soon, especially as this COVID-19 pandemic continues.
