Good Samaritan to auction off muscle car for Yolanda relief efforts

The disaster wrought by Typhoon Yolanda has brought about numerous Good Samaritans in different forms. One such individual is reportedly donating a muscle car to raise funds for the relief efforts.

From what we\'ve gathered, the car owner imported a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle (nearly identical to the one in the photo above, without the \"SS\" badge) from San Francisco, California, two years ago. Reportedly in near-mint condition, the Chevelle--painted black with white sport stripes and a white interior--has all-original body panels, is fully tax-paid and is registered with the Land Transportation Office\'s main branch in Diliman, Quezon City.

According to our source, the original plan was for the car to be sold to a direct buyer with the proceeds going to the Sagip Kapamilya foundation, which was what the car\'s owner specified. That has changed since we\'ve been told that the car will be auctioned off instead.

Although our source refused to divulge who exactly the owner of the Chevelle is, he did describe her as \"rather cute.\" That\'s right, a member of the fairer sex apparently owns the muscle car.
