GWM is now officially a member of CAMPI

GWM Philippines has steadily been making a name for itself in the local automotive industry over the past few years, strengthening its portfolio with one new model after the other. Now, it just announced that it’s officially a member of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines. (CAMPI)

“Being part of CAMPI is a major step forward for GWM Philippines as we continue to strengthen our presence in the country,” said GWM Philippines brand head Dax Avenido. “This milestone reinforces our commitment to contributing to the growth of the Philippine automotive industry while continuously delivering globally competitive vehicles, advanced technology, and customer-focused mobility solutions to Filipinos.”

The Chinese brand has big plans coming up for 2026. It will be launching two plug-in hybrid SUVs—the Tank 700 Hi4-Z and the Haval H7 PHEV. GWM will also be expanding its fully electric offerings this year with the Ora 5. Expect to see more activity from GWM soon.
