In honor of Petron\'s 80th anniversary, Top Gear Philippines wants to recognize the 80 cars that paved the way for game-changing advancements in the automotive industry. Selecting these cars means answering the question: \"Which cars radically transformed the way motor vehicles are designed and built?\"
We\'ve come up with a list of 200 car models. Choosing 80 cars from this list is a chore. So, to make it more manageable, we want you to help us trim the list down from 200 to 80 cars. All you have to do is to look at the list and vote for your 10 picks on our page dubbed \"80 Cars That Blazed A Trail.\" The list of the cars is available below. Notice that we indicated the period in which the specific model generation was produced. We selected just one generation for every model line, except the Porsche 911 (just because every generation of this car is just awesome). You may also read the full mechanics and the current top 10 cars on the official page.
You may vote for 10 cars every day. Deadline for voting is on July 21, 2013, after which we will tally the votes and announce the \"80 Cars That Blazed A Trail.\" Please keep in mind that we are not necessarily looking for the best or most beautiful cars. We\'re looking for cars that contributed significantly to the progress of the automobile--cars that were so ahead of their time that they ultimately elevated the standards in their respective segments (if not the whole auto industry).
