At the start of the week, we reported that multiple Honda and Isuzu dealerships in Metro Manila were set to close down this month. This was the result of a move by the House of Investments, Inc. to streamline its car dealership operations.
Honda Cars Philippines had already issued a statement regarding this when we released the previous story. Now, we have also received word from Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) on the closure of its Greenhills dealership.
The company’s statement reads: “IPC, for its part, expresses utmost appreciation to the dealership for being part of its dealer network since 2009, more importantly for providing excellent sales and after-sales service to its clients.
“IPC reassures its customers that this closure will not affect its nationwide network of 44 dealers. In fact, the company is set to open more dealerships in other strategic locations and vows to continue to be ‘Your Responsible Partner’ especially in this very challenging time.”
In case you missed it, these are the affected Honda and Isuzu dealerships:
- Honda Cars Fairview
- Honda Cars Marikina
- Honda Cars Marcos Highway
- Honda Cars Kalookan
- Isuzu Greenhills
IPC has confirmed that Isuzu Greenhills has already closed up shop as of this writing. Meanwhile, the four other Honda dealers will officially terminate operations on June 30, 2020.
