JMC Philippines has a couple of pickups for your consideration. Before you go toward the ol’ reliable nameplates, the JMC Grand Avenue and Vigus are currently being offered with low down payments and low monthly fees.
Both pickups offer configurations with automatic and manual transmissions, as well as 4x2 and 4x4 drive systems. The JMC Vigus is positioned as an entry-level workhorse, but in terms of price, it isn’t too far off from the more adventurous Grand Avenue.

Speaking of power, the JMC Grand Avenue packs a 2.3-liter turbodiesel engine that makes around 174hp and 450Nm of torque. Buyers have the option to choose either a 4x2 or 4x4 system, mated to an eight-speed automatic, or a six-speed manual transmission. It’s worth noting that the manual configurations output less torque, at just 400Nm.
Nevertheless, all variants of the Grand Avenue hold a consistent payload capacity of 870kg.

Interestingly, the entry-level JMC Vigus sports a bigger 2.5-liter turbodiesel, but produces just 129hp and around 315Nm of torque. Those thinking about picking up a Vigus are stuck with a five-speed manual transmission, but can opt for either a 4x2 or 4x4 system.
The 4x2 Vigus can hold a maximum payload of 965kg, while the 4x4 can carry 895kg.
The Vigus starts at P959,000, and the Grand Avenue will set truckers back P1.221 million for the base variant. However, payment terms can be configured with down payments as low as P76,720, and monthly fees that start at just P17,639.21. These options are available until June 30, 2025.
