In case you missed it, Kia Philippines officially debuted the Kia Sonet a few days ago. This Toyota Raize competitor comes in four variants, with prices ranging from P758,000 to P1,138,000.
We’ve already given you everything you need to know about Kia’s latest subcompact crossover, but if you want to get personally acquainted with it, it’s available for test drives to the public this weekend, June 7 to 9, 2024, at Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

You may proceed to the mall’s Central Garden Ring to sign up for a test-drive slot. Units of the Sonet are available from 10am to 10pm.

“We are excited to introduce the Kia Sonet to the public this coming weekend, and we’re confident the public will be pleasantly surprised with its bold design, modern features, and lively performance,” said Brian Buendia, chief operating officer of Kia Philippines.
“The Kia Sonet will surely set new standards in the small SUV category, so we would like more people to drive it and experience its impressive quality and rich features.”

For the local market, the Sonet packs a 1.5-liter engine that delivers 113hp and 144Nm of torque via a six-speed manual gearbox or Kia’s Intelligent Variable Transmission. The top-spec SX variant comes with class-leading features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display that boasts Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Connectivity (wired and wireless), single-zone automatic climate control, and the Kia DriveWise suite of advanced driver aids, which includes lane-keep and lane-follow assist as well as forward-collision avoidance assist.
Again, you can drop by Ayala Malls Manila Bay this weekend for a chance to try out the Kia Sonet yourself. You can also watch our first impressions below—and don’t forget to leave your thoughts in the comments section.
