If you think PGA Cars is too ambitious for bringing Lamborghini and Bentley into the Philippines, wait until you hear what the Autohub Group is planning to do. Already the exclusive importer and seller for Mini and Rolls-Royce, the group is now looking at introducing Aston Martin and Lotus to our market.
The increasingly loud industry buzz is that Autohub is aggressively bidding for the official right to sell Aston Martin locally, and that the group is vying for the distributorship with at least two other competing parties.
Also, there are talks that Autohub might be close to securing the rights to Lotus, the only obstacle being that the Proton-owned British marque is demanding a stand-alone showroom, which, as of the moment, is difficult to deliver because available lots in Bonifacio Global City are hard to come by these days.
Well, here's hoping that Autohub will be able to seal the deal for both desirable automotive brands. Who wouldn't want to see the Vanquish and the Evora rolling down an open SCTEX?
