Have you ever wondered how an electric vehicle would fare against a gasoline vehicle in Philippine setting? At the 3rd Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit yesterday, Meralco's manager for the EV project, Anthony Agoncillo, presented his Big Test data pitting an e-shuttle against a Toyota Revo.
The study compared the company's e-shuttle, which can carry 13 people, and a Toyota Revo, which is capable of hauling nine people. Results showed that the EV is 46% more fuel-efficient than the conventionally powered MPV. Check out the numbers below.
