TopGear.com.ph Philippine Car News - MIAS 2014: Foton unleashes tougher Thunder pickup variants

Foton's Thunder line of pickups has been made tougher than ever with the addition of the Thunder Strike and the Thunder Ironman in both 4x2 and 4x4 variants.

The Strike sees the dependable Thunder being fitted out with a nudge bar, LED fog lamps, and stepboards. The Ironman, on the other hand, brings out the aggressive side of the standard pickup model, starting with the all-metal, winch-ready front and rear bumpers with matching bull bars. A three-inch suspension lift kit enables the Thunder Ironman to go off the beaten path even further with the LED fog lamps, helping to light its way in the dark. The solid metal brush guard then helps protect the engine and the transmission against the obstacles the vehicle might encounter. The Thunder Ironman also has 17-inch Black Rhino wheels that roll on Aeolus all-terrain tires.

Check out the Thunder Strike and the Thunder Ironman at the 2014 Manila International Auto Show this weekend at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
