More good news. Nissan Philippines (NPI) celebrated a new growth milestone with a move to larger offices at the EcoPrime Building in Bonifacio Global City. According to the press release, the new space“represents the company’s dedication in servicing the increasing requirements of Filipino customers and industry, and its further development ambitions.”
The new office was formally inaugurated last July 16, 2019, and was attended by Nissan Asia and Oceania regional senior vice president, Yutaka Sanada, who highlighted the Philippines as an important market in the region. He was joined by Sen. Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III, as an honorable guest from the Philippine national government.
“This office opening is very symbolic of the importance of the Philippines for Nissan, not just in the Asia and Oceania region, but globally. The Philippines is one of our fastest-growing markets worldwide,” said Sanada.
The new location is spread across two floors, and represents 2,752-sqm of floor space, including 12 meeting rooms, and two conference rooms. NPI has also implemented state-of-the-art communication technologies, including network connectivity and video conferencing.
The move follows the Japanese automaker’s record-breaking 40% growth by the end of 2018. It strengthened its place in the top three automotive brands within the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc., holding an 8.7% market share, compared to 5.3% in the previous year.
Congratulations, Nissan PH!
