Omoda and Jaecoo Philippines (OJP) has officially launched in the Philippine market. The Chinese brand is off to a confident start with a three-vehicle lineup and an established dealership network across central cities in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
The cars from Omoda aim to uplift the technological lifestyle of today’s drivers while Jaecoo seeks to bring that tech to the wilderness with its off-roading capabilities. OJP is definitely looking towards the future, with two EVs and just one ICE car as its maiden lineup.

The Omoda C5 enters the competitive subcompact-crossover segment at an eye-catching P998,000, for the base variant. That price climbs all the way to P1.279 million for the top configuration, which gives the 1.5-liter engine a more premium, and techy interior.
The C5’s electric sibling, the Omoda E5, aims to capture the market of drivers making the shift to new energy vehicles. The E5 starts at P1.699 million, but take note that OJP is currently offering discounts of up to P220,000 on all of its models.

In our test drives, the C5 and E5 offered an easy plug-and-play driving experience that should reassure first-time car buyers and new drivers.
The Jaecoo EJ6, highlighted OJP’s brand launch as the company’s flagship vehicle. The EJ6 is just as—if not—more tech-filled than the Omoda models, but in a boxy and rugged shell. It still slides into the compact SUV segment, and with an AWD system, off-roaders who still need a daily driver should take a look at this new EV.
The EJ6 starts at P1.649 million for the RWD variant, but serious adventurers will want the AWD system that comes in at P1.799 million.
The future looks chrome-plated, and OJP wants to be your ride through this next era. OJP is looking to expand its dealer network by adding 24 new showrooms throughout the year. The Philippine market should also expect more hybrid vehicle launches from the two brands.
