It’s official, folks: the BYD Shark 6 DMO is on its way to our market. That means BYD Cars Philippines will soon have a pickup in its lineup, adding further to its continuously growing list of electrified vehicles.
ACMobility has also confirmed that the pickup will be launched in March, and that advanced reservations are already available at BYD dealerships nationwide.

While not a lot of details have been released just yet, we know from other markets that this comes in 4WD form, with a 1.5-liter turbo engine generating power for two electric motors. Said motors, in turn, make a combined total of 430hp. What we don’t know for now, however, is whether or not we’ll be getting this or a tamer 2WD version of the Shark.
