Radar Tires has signed a multi-year partnership with Manny Pacquiao’s Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). The tire company will help support the basketball league’s mission of empowering young Filipinos through sports, while expanding its presence across the country.
MPBL positions itself as the league for every Filipino, broadcasting on free-to-air television and focusing on giving homegrown athletes from different cities and provinces the chance to compete and earn a livelihood through basketball. Both the MPBL and Radar share the goal of giving back to the community, with the tire company building on a history of backing numerous athletes and sports associations.

Radar says the Philippines has always been one of its key markets in Asia, adding that it has seen a positive response to its products from motorists and dealers, encouraging it to keep growing in the country. The brand adds that, with the Philippines being a basketball-loving nation, the MPBL stood out as a natural partner that shares the same community-centered beliefs.

In addition to supporting a grassroots league and its athletes, the partnership allows Radar to connect with fans, households, and communities through visibility as the league’s exclusive tire sponsor. For the 2027 MPBL Season, the 28 teams are expected to play around 400 games held across different provinces. The partnership begins in the remainder of the Season 8 Playoffs and Finals, and will continue into Season 9.
“In basketball, just like in life, we go further when we move forward together,” said Manny Pacquiao. “Through our partnership with Radar Tires, we share a common mission—to support Filipino talent, strengthen our communities, and give our athletes the opportunity to chase their dreams. Because when we invest in sports, we invest in the future of our Filipino youth.”
“Giving back to the community has always been in our DNA. It is who we are at Radar Tires, and it is a commitment we have carried across every country we operate in,” said Onmi United (parent company of Radar Tires) president and CEO GS Sareen. “The Philippines holds a special place in our hearts. For over 17 years, Filipino drivers and dealers have welcomed our brand, and this partnership is our way of coming closer to them and the communities they call home.”
