The numbers have been released this week, and the government has announced that there will be decreases of at least P20.89 per liter on diesel and at least P4.43 per liter on gas.
Shell is one of the bigger industry players that doesn’t regularly release its own fuel price updates. But this week, a source from within the company has shared that Shell will be implementing big-time rollbacks on all of its products effective April 14.

We were told that Shell will be cutting the prices of its diesel products by P23 per liter, well over the estimated rollback we previously shared. The prices of Shell’s gasoline products will go down by P6.50 per liter, while kerosene will see an P11.50/L rollback.

This week’s round of rollbacks is the first since fuel prices started skyrocketing following the start of the war in the Middle East. It could potentially be the biggest rollback yet, though it will only be a fraction of the total price hikes over the past month.
