Suzuki’s next-generation vehicles will look noticeably different, as after 22 years, a new emblem will soon be the standard. The new look was unveiled earlier this week, but it will make its official debut at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show later in October.
The Suzuki emblem is now finished in a matte, high-brightness silver paint that the Japanese carmaker claims to be more environmentally friendly than its previous shiny, chrome-plated badge. While the logo above looks similar to what is already on the new Suzuki e-Vitara, the company announced that new concept vehicles will be the first to feature it in Japan next month.

At the 2024 Philippine International Motor Show, Suzuki’s eVX concept also sported a similar-looking emblem, outfitted with a glowing backlight. We can expect a slightly different look come JMS, but all eyes will probably be focused on the new concepts Suzuki will be presenting.

It will also likely be a long time before this new logo becomes standard across all production vehicles. Suzuki Philippines recently launched the all-new Fronx and a refreshed XL7 Hybrid, both of which carry the current chrome emblem. October 2025 may be too soon to roll out facelifted models with just the new badge.

A facelifted Jimny with the matte logo and Suzuki Safety Support, the brand’s advanced driver-assistance system, does sound like a more reasonable release—but that’s still just wishful thinking.
What do you think of Suzuki’s new logo? We believe it looks cleaner and more refined than the existing chrome finish, but sound off in the comments.
