Suzuki Philippines (SPH) is on a roll this year, and it’s all thanks to hot-selling products like the all-new Ertiga MPV, Swift subcompact hatch, and budget-friendly Celerio.
The Japanese car manufacturer has just announced it has climbed to fourth place in sales for the month of July, and fifth place year-to-date for 2019. This is the highest ranking in the history of the brand, which saw a 41% growth in sales compared to last year.
Helping push Suzuki to a strong 2019 is the all-new Ertiga. As of the end of July, the seven-seat MPV has accounted for 34% of the company’s vehicle income. The Suzuki Swift comes in second with 13% of overall sales, and the Celerio finds itself in third place with 11%. SPH also says its focus on the local TNVS market, with cars like the Ciaz, is contributing to its success.
SPH is also inviting interested customers to check out its cars at its Auto Festival exhibits. The event will be at SM City BF Parañaque (August 17-18), SM City General Santos (September 21-22) and SM City Davao (October 26-27).
“The brand will continue delivering on its commitment to provide only good-quality vehicles to provide Filipinos with the best driving experience and bring them closer to the Suzuki way of life,” the company said in a statement.
