Talks about Vietnamese carmaker VinFast entering the Philippine market started brewing earlier this year. Now, those talks are finally materializing, as VinFast has officially launched in the country.
The brand will be holding an event with the media on May 31, while a public event is scheduled for June 1 to 2. While VinFast has yet to confirm which of its models will be available here, it did announce that EVs including the VF 5, VF 7, VF 9, and VF e34 as well as six electric motorcycles and the CF DrgnFly electric bike will be on display during the public showcase.
