In March, the Chief revealed the pricing of the all-new Kia Carens as given to him by the president of the Korean carmaker\'s authorized Philippine distributor, Columbian Autocar Corporation\'s Ginia Domingo.
As told to us then, the prices of the three Carens variants were as follows: P1.48 million for the EX, P1.28 million for the LX automatic, and P1.18 million for the base LX manual.
Well, we\'ve not only learned that CAC will launch the all-new Carens by the end of the month, we\'ve also gotten hold of the MPV\'s updated price tags.
Though the price of the top-end EX variant remains the same at P1.48 million, the prices of the LX variants have surprisingly gone down. Now, the slushbox-equipped LX retails for P1.23 million, while the manual LX goes for P1.14 million. That means the prices for the two LX variants have gone down by P50,000 and P40,000, respectively.
Of course, while these marked-down figures might just be CAC\'s introductory prices for the Carens, it certainly does make the MPV more attractive to your checkbook if the gorgeous sheet metal isn\'t enough to convince you to buy one.
