Porsche's fastest and most powerful road-going sports car proves to be a fast seller as well.
The German carmaker said all 500 units of the limited edition Porsche 911 GT2 RS have been sold barely two months since its launch at the Moscow Auto Salon on August 25.
"This top model emphasizes the success story of the 911," Porsche said in a statement.
The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is powered by a 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine that produces 620hp.
How fast can it go? We're talking about zero to 100kph in 3.5 seconds.
"Despite the fact that its power has been enhanced by 90 HP, its fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions have actually been reduced by about five percent compared to the 911 GT2, bringing them down to 11.9 l/100 km (NEDC) and 284 g/km, respectively," Porsche said.
