After six years in the market, the Mazda3 is still going strong-so strong that Mazda Philippines will be celebrating the model's successful run by unveiling the Mazda3 Limited Series.
"The Mazda3 has always been known for its spirited and sporty performance as well as its edgy looks. The Mazda3 Limited Series comes with appointments that truly befit the nameplate as well as its discerning customer," Mazda Philippines brand manager Prudz Castillo said.
The Mazda3 1.6 S Limited Series variant comes with new fog lamps up front and a floating-type spoiler at the rear. Meanwhile, the 1.6 V Limited Series, sports a lip-type rear spoiler on the boot.
But the Mazda 3 Limited Series' styling tweaks don't stop there. Both variants are enhanced by side skirts and a chrome exhaust finisher to enhance the brand's stature as the style leader in the highly-competitive compact car class.
Under the hood, the MZR engine soldiers on, offering the same edgy, performance-oriented punch it's always been known to give, thanks to its 105 horsepower.
Sending the power down to the wheels will be a 4-speed Activematic transmission that gives the Mazda3 Limited Series' driver the best of both worlds-a fully automatic mode for those who prefer to drive more sedately, and a semi-manual mode for those who want more control when it comes to shifting gears.
The Mazda3 1.6 S Limited Edition variant is available at P850,000 while the 1.6 V Limited Edition variant is at P895,000.
