Any Beep card collectors out there? New limited-edition designs celebrating the country's highest judicial institution will be available starting June 2026.

The Supreme Court (SC) of the Philippines recently launched the special commemorative Beep cards as part of its 125th anniversary celebrations.

Similar to metro cards in other countries, Beep cards are widely used for cashless payments in public transportation systems across Metro Manila, including Light Rail Transit Lines 1 and 2 and Metro Rail Transit Line 3. These essential commuter transport cards can also be used for fare payments on P2P buses, Cebu ferries, select convenience stores, and partner merchants.

Supreme Court as viewed from the LRT

The commemorative Beep card features a stylized rendition of the Supreme Court complex from the digital artwork ‘SC Padre Faura Community’ by Rancho Arcilla of the Office of the Spokesperson. The cards were developed in partnership with AF Payments (AFPI), the operator of the Beep automated fare collection system.

“The design highlights the SC complex as viewed from the LRT and reflects the institution’s enduring role in Philippine democracy. Two variations of the design were produced, each inspired by the SC’s 125th Anniversary,” shared Arcilla, the artist behind the designs, in an online post.

According to the Office of the Spokesperson, Atty. Camille Sue Mae L. Ting, the Beep Cards, has transformed a “familiar item into a small piece of history—one that commemorates 125 years of the Supreme Court’s service to the Filipino people.”

The initiative forms part of a broader effort to make the Judiciary more accessible and relatable to the public.

In her welcome message during the event’s launch, Atty. Ting shared that the initiative was one of the “meaningful ways to share this milestone beyond the Court’s walls and bring it closer to the public we serve.”

Supreme Court Gift Shop

On June 4, 2026, the Supreme Court also formally opened its first-ever SC Gift Shop at the SC Main Building in Manila. The shop offers a curated selection of souvenirs, stationery, and commemorative items that reflect the identity and heritage of the Philippine Judiciary.

“More than merchandise, these are keepsakes that allow visitors, employees, and supporters of the Judiciary to take home a small reminder of this historic milestone,” Atty. Ting said.

Like the Beep card, the Gift Shop is another initiative aimed at reinforcing the Court’s connection with the public:

Limited-edition Beep cards

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen limited-edition Beep cards featuring designs that showcase Philippine art, culture, and landmarks.

The National Museum of the Philippines previously released Beep card designs highlighting the collections of the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum of Anthropology, the National Museum of Natural History, and the National Museum of the Philippines-Cebu.

Limited edition Spoliarium Beep card

NMP’s viral Spoliarium Beep card with the artwork of Juan Luna became a highly sought-after collectible item among commuters. NMP also released the Una Bulaqueña Beep card last year. Other limited edition Beep cards have featured Baybayin under the CalligraFilipino series by artist Taipan Lucero.

For railfans and transport card collectors, the Supreme Court’s newest design marks a unique collaboration between the Judiciary and the country's public transportation sector.

Where will the Beep cards be sold?

According to the Supreme Court's media release, the limited-edition Supreme Court Beep cards are expected to be available to the public beginning this month (June 2026) at all LRT and MRT stations.

Commuters who happen to have errands or live near the Ermita area might also want to check out the new Supreme Court Gift Shop to buy the cards and other souvenir merch there.

The Supreme Court of the Philippines Gift Shop is located at the lobby of the SC Main Building along Padre Faura Street, Ermita, Manila. The SC Gift Shop will be open to the public beginning June 5, 2026, from 10am to 3pm.

How much will the Beep cards cost?

While there’s no official word yet on how much these Supreme Court Beep cards will cost, previous limited edition designs have been priced at P350 to P500 for the card alone, which you’ll have to reload separately to use.
