There will be zipper lanes opened from Mondays to Saturdays—one in the morning from 5:30am to 8am, and another in the afternoon from 5pm until 8pm.
The morning zipper lane stretches 1.32km along the highway, from the Commonwealth–Regalado Avenue junction to the Commonwealth–Camaro Street junction.
The afternoon zipper lane is shorter, spanning 0.8km from the Commonwealth–Fairlane Street junction to the Commonwealth–Regalado Highway junction.
The new traffic scheme aims to ease the congestion in the area during rush hours. The zipper lanes will only be open to light vehicles and motorcycles. Also, these will be restricted one-vehicle lanes, and overtaking will not be allowed.
Motorists are also advised that the traffic lights at the intersection will be kept at flashing mode, so all those traversing this area must pay attention to the deployed traffic enforcers at all times.

Be advised, motorists. Not a lot of us will be driving out soon, anyway, but it’s best to take note of these recent changes and spread the word.
