Turn 10 Studios, a subsidiary of Microsoft Studios and the creator of the Forza Motorsport racing video game franchise, is collaborating with McLaren Automotive to give one lucky contest participant the chance to ride in the McLaren P1 at its \"global dynamic debut\" at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.
Joining the contest simply requires liking the Forza McLaren Ride app on McLaren Automotive\'s official Facebook page and guessing where on a map of Prague is the finish line depicted in the game\'s trailer located.
Now, don\'t fret if you\'re not the lucky winner chosen to ride in the P1. According to the British carmaker, the second-prize winner receives a trip for two to the McLaren Technology Center, while the third-place winner will get an exclusive McLaren Gift Pack.
Besides appearing at the E3 annual video game conference earlier this week, the P1 will also appear on the cover of the upcoming Forza Motorsport 5.
\"This is an exciting time for both McLaren and Microsoft, with both brands launching true game-changers in the shape of the McLaren P1 and Forza Motorsport 5 for the Xbox One,\" said McLaren Automotive sales and marketing director Greg Levine. \"We share key values, employ cutting-edge technologies, and both strive to innovate through groundbreaking methods. The McLaren P1 is the culmination of 50 years of race-winning technology and expertise, and is the perfect fit as the ‘hero’ for the latest edition of the highest-rated racing franchise of the past 10 years.\"
