Heads-up, folks. The ongoing rally organized by the Iglesia ni Cristo will continue tomorrow, July 1, 2026. This comes after the religious group recently received an official permit from the local government unit of Quezon City.

According to the official document obtained by Inquirer.net, the event should only take place along White Plains Avenue and Temple Drive, from 8am to 8pm. No total road closures will be enforced; however, the permit states that around 100,000 participants are expected to attend.

While the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and the Quezon City Traffic and Transport Management Department have yet to release official advisories, it goes without saying that motorists should take alternate routes to avoid the probable traffic.

Throughout today, the EDSA Carousel and the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 have remained fully operational to help citizens traverse the highway. We’ll keep an eye out for any services and notices issued by the government agencies and other relevant groups. Watch this space for the latest updates.
