Lalamove has officially entered the ride-hailing industry with ‘Lalamove Ride.’ This new service is currently available for those in the Greater Manila Area, Pampanga, and Cebu. At the moment, Lalamove Ride offers sedans, SUVs, and MPVs for up to four to six passengers.

The brand originally made its name in delivery services—not only could users book motorcycles with insulated boxes, but also utility vehicles and vans for transporting larger items. Now, Lalamove is recruiting more drivers to join its ride-hailing service, with a target of 15,000 by June 2025.

Lalamove Ride aims to complete its 15,000-driver goal with a diverse mix of vehicles as well—hoping to mimic the flexibility and convenience of its delivery services. Drivers who sign up for Lalamove Ride can even opt to accept delivery requests, which adds more flexibility to their income stream as well.

While drivers get to maximize the use of their vehicles, Lalamove has also ensured that its new ride-hailing service will offer friendlier rates to its users compared with its competitors. These cheaper services also come with the government-mandated 20% discount rates for PWDs, senior citizens, and students while offering accident insurance for both the driver and passengers.
