The Department of Transportation has announced that the respective operating hours of the LRT-2 and MRT-3 train lines will be adjusted for the 2025 holiday season.
Starting December 9, 2025, the LRT-2 system will be extending its operating hours for the rest of the month. Specifically, the last train out of Antipolo will depart at 10pm, while the final train out of Recto will leave at 10:30pm. However, on December 24 and 31, the train line will implement a reduced schedule.

On the MRT-3, a longer operating schedule will take effect on Christmas Day, December 25, and on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2026. But like the LRT-2, a shorter schedule will be in place on December 24 and 31.
