Traffic shouldn’t be that bad this Wednesday (or at least hopefully)—it’s Independence Day, and most of us will probably be taking the holiday off. Number coding has also been suspended that day, so even traffic enforcers aren’t expecting a high volume of cars on the road then.
But if you’re a resident of Manila City or will be driving in the area then, you’re still advised to plan your trips accordingly. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has shared that some roads will be closed off throughout the day to make way for the official 126th Philippine Independence Day celebrations.
