In case you’ve been living under a rock, Filipino girl group BINI has taken the country by storm. Hits like Pantropiko and Salamin, Salamin have taken over the Internet over the past few months, and it’s turned BINI into the biggest musical sensation since, well, I’m not really sure.
Okay, you’re still on Top Gear Philippines, so make no mistake about it—we’re here to talk about something motoring-related. In this case, it’s about BINI Day which is happening tomorrow, June 11 at One Ayala in Makati City. Expect heavy traffic in the area, whether you’re a motorist or a commuter. How big is it, you might ask? So big that even the One Ayala Facebook page changed its profile picture just for this event.

We’re not here to talk about what BINI Day will be like because that’s not our expertise. Based on what we’ve read online, there’ll be dance workshops and meet-and-greet sessions and whatnot. And if social media engagement is anything to go by, there’ll be a lot of people converging at One Ayala tomorrow. If anything, we’re anticipating foot traffic to be an even bigger problem for BINI Day.
It’s also a holiday the day after on June 12—it’s Independence Day, in case some of you forgot—so the chances that people might get off early from work (or miss the day entirely) just to get a glimpse of their idols might be high. If you’re driving around the area tomorrow or if your regular commute includes passing by the transport terminal, then be advised.
