Do you pass by Mindanao Avenue (or its vicinity) regularly? Unfortunately for you, expect traffic to worsen by the end of this month.

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has announced that starting June 29, the two outer lanes along Mindanao Avenue southbound will be closed off to give way to the construction of the Metro Manila Subway, specifically the Tandang Sora Station.

The newly constructed diversion road will be open for light vehicles, at the very least. That being said, motorists may still experience traffic slowdowns along the stretch between Congressional Avenue and Tandang Sora Avenue due to the road works.
