A total of 683 units of the Mazda MX-5 assembled at the RDW Test Center at Lelystad in the Netherlands last weekend to break the Guinness World Record for the \"largest parade of Mazda cars\" of 459 MX-5 cars set in Essen, Germany, in 2010.

Throughout the day, in what was billed as the \"MAX-5\" event, the RDW Test Center was completely dedicated to the Japanese brand and \"the Mazda experience.\"

Participants had the opportunity to extensively test Mazda\'s new i-ActivSense technology on the banked circuit or entertain themselves on one of the racing simulators. All the new Mazda SkyActiv models were also on hand for those interested in taking a test drive. Visitors had the opportunity to have their roadsters inspected by Mazda technicians. Awards were then given out to \"the most beautiful and authentic Mazda MX-5s\" of the day.

Zoom-zoom indeed.
