Travelers flying out of NAIA Terminal 3 via the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Expressway (NAIAX) should now be able to access the airport more easily with the opening of the tollway’s new westbound off-ramp that leads directly to the said terminal. The off-ramp was officially opened to the public on March 27, 2026.
The 320-meter stretch of road, which cost around P1 billion to construct, will serve motorists coming from SLEX, Skyway Stage 3, and Lawton Avenue. During peak hours, it is expected to reduce travel time by 15 to 25 minutes.

The project was completed in just 12 months by the infrastructure arm of San Miguel Corporation, with close coordination among the construction teams, contractors, regulators, the local government of Pasay City, the Department of Transportation (DOTr), and the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB). Initially, construction was estimated to take 36 months.

Aside from the new NAIAX westbound off-ramp, the road along Circulo del Mundo Rotonda leading to NAIA Terminal 3 was also widened to help ease the flow of traffic.

All in all, the new off-ramp and the widened road segment aim “to improve connectivity among NAIA’s three terminals, with a projected 30% to 40% reduction in vehicle volume at the Andrews Avenue–Newport intersection by separating airport-bound traffic from local roads, providing immediate relief to commuters and residents of Newport City and Villamor,” according to the official release from the Presidential Communications Office (PCO).
“Ito ay isang bahagi lamang sa mga ating ginagawa, lalong-lalong [sa] paghahanda sa Holy Week,” said President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in his message during the event.
