Higher toll fees will be applied on the North Luzon Expressway, as approved by the Toll Regulatory Board. Set to take effect on January 20, 2026, the price change follows an initial increase implemented in March 2025.

This comes as the fourth price increase since 2022, with toll fees regularly being raised sometime within the first half of each year.

According to NLEX and the TRB, the higher prices are necessary to support operations and maintenance of the expressway, along with further planned expansions. The year 2025 saw many improvement projects that focused on flood mitigation and traffic control, while the tollway operator aims to kick off construction on the NLEX-C5 Northlink this year.
