Our Olympians have been the stuff of headlines these past few weeks, with several of our kababayans bringing home some silverware from the recent Paris 2024 Olympics. To celebrate their achievements, there will be a homecoming parade to be held later today in Manila City and Pasay City.
What does this all have to do with us, you might ask? Well, this grand parade will spell heavy traffic, of course. That’s why we’re here to inform all of you about the schedule and route of the parade so you’ll know which areas in the metro to avoid.

The 7.7km motorcade will begin just outside the Aliw Theater in Pasay City and pass through Roxas Boulevard, Padre Burgos Avenue, Finance Road, Taft Avenue, Quirino Avenue, and Adriatico Street en route to the endpoint at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has shared alternate routes for affected northbound and southbound motorists which we’ve listed down below. Note that the MMDA will implement stop-and-go traffic along the intersections that the parade will traverse.
