Apr 13, 2014 Philippine Car News - Petron’s Lakbay Alalay program ready for Holy Week exodus

Petron's Lakbay Alalay, the country's longest-running motorist assistance program, is ready to support motorists in their Holy Week exodus by offering its free safety-check program.

According to Petron, motorists can ask its participating stations nationwide to make a quick safety check on their vehicle to make sure it "is roadworthy and in shape to take on that road trip," or they can ask for a more comprehensive 38-point inspection service that will cover the tires, the engine, the engine fluids, the battery, the lights, the underchassis, and the accessories. The best thing about both safety checks is that they are absolutely free of charge.

To avail of either service, motorists are advised to look for the "Petron Lakbay Alalay Free Safety Check" sign and ask for assistance.
