A year ago, Skyway Stage 3 was barely there—now you can’t miss it

There’s less than a year to go before the project’s target completion date

We witnessed a handful of new roads and bridges starting to take shape last year, and among them is the Skyway Stage 3. This is arguably one of the biggest—if not the biggest—of all the ongoing projects the government has on its plate.

This tollway—which is scheduled to be completed in 2020—will seek to connect the South Luzon Expressway and the North Luzon Expressway by extending the existing elevated tollway from Buendia in Makati to Balintawak in Quezon City. With less than a year to go before we finally see this new road in all its glory, we once again take a look at how much progress has been made so far.

As we have done so multiple times in the past, we turn to YouTuber dmitrivalencia to see the current roadwork from a drone’s point of view. In the embedded video above, you’ll see a lot of progress in the first few sections of the tollway. He also uploaded a detailed breakdown on his official Facebook page, which you can see below:
