SMC Infrastructure, operator of the SLEX, Skyway, NAIA X, STAR Tollway, and TPLEX, is currently implementing extra measures to ensure the smooth flow of traffic this long weekend.
Safety is also a top priority for Undas 2024, as the following measures were coordinated with the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) to involve local government units and other relevant agencies to provide fast and effective emergency service.

Motorists driving on the SLEX and other SMC-operated expressways, will notice the presence of additional manpower to help manage traffic bottlenecks, and provide assistance at entry and exit toll plazas.
From October 31 to November 5, there will also be a pause on roadworks, maintenance and other activities that could slow down traffic.
For distressed drivers who may have emergencies while on the tollways, SMC has secured fire trucks, ambulances, and tow trucks—ready to be deployed to motorists in need.
Anyone who requires emergency assistance on the expressway should call:
- SLEX Hotline: 09176877539
- TPLEX Hotline: 09178880715
- STAR Hotlines: 09175117827 / 043-7567870
- Skyway Hotline: 02-53188655
To further prevent the likelihood of an emergency, or any inconvenience while on the road, SMC urges drivers to have their Autosweep RFIDs sufficiently topped up, and information updated before entering a tollway. Drivers with Autosweep-To-Go accounts can update their account information via the Autosweep website.
If an RFID sticker is damaged, or defective in anyway, motorists can have their stickers replaced for free at various toll plazas. Drivers should also have their Autosweep cards ready just in case.
Don't forget to drive safely this Undas season.
