Looking for a stylish scooter that's fuel-efficient yet affordable? Japanese motorcycle brand Suzuki just launched the 2025 Suzuki Access 125, a classically styled urban scooter promising smarter, cost-effective commuting with improved fuel economy. After some teasers on social media, the new model was officially unveiled at an ‘All Access’ event at Market! Market! in Taguig City over the weekend.

Compared to Suzuki’s other models, the Access is evidently meant to appeal to the Gen Z market with its clean, subtle styling, minimal decals and accessories on the fairings, and color options.

The Access 125 comes in two variants: Access and Access Ride Connect Edition. There are also four distinct colorways: Solid Ice Green, Metallic Matte Black, Pearl Grace White, and Metallic Matte Stellar Blue (for the Ride Connect Edition only). All variants come with a classic brown seat, gray floorboard, grab bar, and chrome muffler cover.

The seat width (said to be the longest and widest among its direct competitors) measures 404mm, with a seat length of 861mm, making it a comfortable option whether you’re driving solo or have a pillion passenger along.

The standard model features a digital instrument panel, while the Ride Connect edition of the Access comes with a TFT meter panel that allows navigation support and other tech features using Android or iOS smartphones.

For instance, users can record and share their trips, locate the last parked location, or save a copy of important rider documents.

The scooter also has a front USB charging port, dual front utility pockets, and a side stand interlock, which cuts off the engine when the side stand is engaged. It also boasts an impressive 24L underseat storage compartment.

Another interesting feature is the concealed tail-mounted petrol cap beneath the new outer lid above the taillight. This means there’s no need to open the seat compartment whenever you fuel up. And speaking of fuel, the tank has a 5.3L capacity.

The Access gets a disc brake up front and drum brake at the rear, with 12- and 10-inch front and rear wheels, respectively, both shod in tubeless tires.

Meanwhile, the seat height is 770mm (30.3 inches) with a high ground clearance of 160mm.  The curb weight is 106kg, making this scooter very nimble and easy to maneuver—perfect for navigating city commutes, tackling errands, or simply enjoying the freedom of two wheels.

So how much does the new Access cost? The standard Suzuki Access has an SRP of P84,900, while the Ride Connect edition costs P93,900 in the Philippines.
