A newly established local racing school with purported ties to Winds Garage, a Japanese racing outfit that grooms its drivers through Formula racing, will display three of its cars on June 18 and 19 at Bonifacio High Street in Taguig.
The three-car display--a Formula 4 and two Formula Japan 1600 cars--is Winds Formula Philippines' (WFP) way of introducing itself to the market as a school that can help aspiring Formula drivers break into the many competitive Formula series in Japan through its "Step Up System." For some of the series, WFP is even providing a one-year vehicle support for the most promising drivers.
On hand during the two-day event will be Nao Furuya, a driver in Japan's Super GT Series who competes in the GT300 class. Furuya is also being eyed as a prospective instructor in the local Formula series that will be established by WFP.
Representatives from WFP will be available during the event not only to explain how their system works but to also accept early registrants.
WFP's Formula Car Show will be held at Bonifacio High Street in front of Fully Booked.
