Nissan Motor Philippines (NMPI) has brought in the 3.5-liter variant of the Teana four months after the refreshed midsize luxury sedan was launched in the country.
"The all-new Nissan Teana 3.5L is meant to reflect NMPI's continually strong and undeterred commitment to constantly offer high-quality products that maximize the pleasure of driving, and the pride of owning a Nissan," Nissan Motor Philippines president and chief executive Allen Chen said.
Equipped with Nissan's award-winning VQ35DE V6 engine--the only engine in Ward's 10 best engines list for 14 consecutive years--the Teana runs with 249hp and 335Nm of torque. It also comes with Nissan's Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission with Adaptive Shift Control to offer responsive acceleration and class-leading fuel economy while giving passengers a comfortable ride as shift shock is eliminated at all vehicle speeds.
The Teana's interior is lavishly appointed, with a dashboard that seemingly floats on top of a large wood panel that also adorns the center console. Complementing this are chrome finishes to the door latch and grip handle as well as the double-stitched leather door trim.
As a luxury sedan, the Teana comes with a dual-zone auto air-conditioning system, interior mood lighting, triple meter cluster with integrated multi-information display, audio/cruise control steering buttons, rear sunshade, eight-way adjustable powered driver’s seat and four-way adjustable powered front passenger seat, intelligent Key for keyless operation, ventilated seats for the driver and the front passenger, Ottoman-style leg rest for the front passenger, and a panoramic sunroof.
The Teana also has the best-in-class boot/trunk space with a capacity of 506 liters and received the top six-star rating in the Japan New Car Assessment Program.
The 3.5-liter Nissan Teana is available in White Pearl, Sapphire Black, Deep Amethyst Purple and Brilliant Silver at P1.998 million.
