Last June, Nissan tapped Olympic and world record holder Usain Bolt for its \"WHAT IF_\" global brand campaign. As a continuation of their partnership, the Japanese carmaker will auction on eBay a one-off gold GT-R with the proceeds going to the Usain Bolt Foundation.

Besides the gold exterior finish and Bolt\'s embossed signature on the car, what make this one-off GT-R stand out are its interior fittings that are finished in real gold.

Since his gold-medal performance at the 2012 London Olympics, Bolt has been busy with Nissan in his new role as the carmaker\'s \"Director of Excitement\" by developing a special \"Bolt GT-R\" for his own personal use and testing various GT-R models at Nissan\'s proving ground near Oppama, Japan. Later this year, Bolt will also start working with Nissan product specialists on the development of a limited-edition run of special GT-R models.

\"Nissan shares the spirit of excitement that captivated worldwide audiences at the Olympics,\" said Nissan chief operating officer Toshiyuki Shiga. \"There is no one better qualified than Usain Bolt to help us translate that spirit into great experiences.\"
