Chevron (formerly Caltex) Philippines, Pilipinas Shell, Seaoil and Phoenix Petroleum announced a 75-centavo a liter price cut on diesel products and 50-centavos a liter off gasoline and kerosene effective 12:01 a.m. on December 22.
Petron Corp. will implement similar price cuts by 6 a.m.
The oil price rollback reflects the reduction of crude oil in the international market, Chevron communications manager Toby Nebrida said.
