Gulf Oil has returned to motorsports in a new and exciting fashion. After a successful campaign with Williams Racing in 2023, Gulf and Carlos Sainz Jr.’s new Formula 1 team have just signed a multi-year partnership. The oil company will be supporting Williams through and through, with the partnership extending to the esports team and the Williams Racing Driving Academy.

It’s also making a return to MotoGP with the newly promoted Trackhouse Racing. Based in the United States, Trackhouse is a young squad with bright ambitions in the series.

Williams’ signing of ‘smooth operator’ Sainz sent shockwaves throughout the F1 community and injected the Grove-based outfit with new life and hype. The Spaniard and his teammate Alex Albon will be racing in the 2025 season in Williams blue, with some orange from Gulf. And yes, the liveries are going to be beautiful.

The entire team will also be powered by Gulf Oil’s new coffee brand Reviva as they race all over the world.

Meanwhile, Trackhouse Racing debuted in MotoGP just last year with another Spaniard, Raul Fernandez, making a name for the rookie team. Now in its sophomore season, Trackhouse has the support of a seasoned motorsports partner.

Fernandez will be back, this time wearing Gulf Oil blue and orange. Joining him is Moto2 champion Ai Ogura. After dominating the second division, the Japanese racer will attempt to establish himself and his new team within the top ranks of MotoGP.

It’s going to be an exciting year for racing, and Gulf Oil might just have the best seats in the house.
