The fourth round of the 2013 Hyundai Lateral Drift Championship Series held recently at Aseana City saw the pro division\'s current points leader return to his winning ways, while a newcomer to the amateur division has finally claimed his first-ever win.
After managing podium finishes in the first two rounds of the series\' amateur division, Mark Bernardo finally captured his first victory, beating Karr Montaner, who had missed all three previous rounds. Dan Javier completed the division\'s top finishers in third place.
In the pro division, Gio Rodriguez got his groove back after having failed to finish in the previous round\'s final four, capturing his third first-place result in four rounds. Rodriguez\'s victory came at the expense of 2011 Lateral Drift champion Audel Sison, who claimed second place, while Ralph Tan, Rodriguez\'s teammate, came in third place.
The fifth round of the 2013 Hyundai Lateral Drift Championship Series will be on November 16, again at Aseana City. Admission is free.
