Besides the two modified Genesis Coupes--the R-Spec and the CosworthRacing Series--that Hyundai has already revealed ahead of the 2012 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, the Korean carmaker has revealed three more cars that will share the stage at the four-day event.

With Bisimoto Engineering, Hyundai worked on the Elantra GT and fitted it with forged Arias pistons, Bisimoto con-rods, Turbonetics turbocharger, AEM water-methanol injection, and Bisimoto high-pressure injectors to bump up the output of its 1.8-liter engine to over 600hp.

On top of the engine upgrades, the Bisimoto Elantra GT hosts an extensive list of interior and exterior modifications like an ARK custom bodykit, a JFN roll cage, Bisimoto racing seats and harnesses, and custom interior.

For ARK Performance's Veloster Alpine concept, the 1.6-liter direct-injection engine received an ARK Performance DTS exhaust system, K&N intake system, Nitrous Express Proton kit, ARK oil cooler, and BTRcc custom engine bay parts and tuning to boost its power to 232hp and its torque to 325Nm.

The concept also expands on the Veloster's functional design strengths like its hidden third door and wide-opening rear hatch with a focused interior theme. JPM Coachworks created the interior environment with a blend of Alcantara, fine Italian leather and WeatherTek breathable fabric. According to Hyundai, these materials were chosen specifically for their durability in wet environments, including leather that repels mildew and a WeatherTek material commonly used in snow apparel. As an added touch, the warmth of the Alcantara suede material provides a welcoming environment after a frosty day on the slopes.

And then there's the Veloster-based Velocity concept by Hyundai America's internal design and technical center. Built to look like a factory racer, the Velocity concept has a set of 19-inch HRE lightweight satin-charcoal racing wheels, a tarmac-scraping lower bodykit with generous front and rear brake cooling ducts, lift-reducing rear diffuser, and an oversized rear wing.

For the engine, Hyundai America turned to Cosworth, which provided the carmaker with customized engine modifications, including performance pistons, rods, turbocharger, intercooler, intake manifold, intake-charging design, fuel system, and an engine management system that bumps the numbers of the 1.6-liter engine to 400hp and 475Nm.
