Jaguar virtual windscreen

Many car guys love driving so much that they actually join regular track days with friends or fellow car-club members. Some of them even pay a professional driving instructor to teach them the intricacies of proper racetrack driving. Now, imagine if your own car had the technology to teach you everything by itself.

Welcome Jaguar's virtual windscreen concept, which features an expansive head-up display that shows the driver comprehensive racing information while he drives around a circuit. The system will show you the correct racing line; compare your performance with other drivers via its ghost-car visualization; and provide safe training with the use of virtual cones.

In other words, it's like playing a racing video game--except you're driving a real car on a real track. Watch the video below to understand the concept.
