Toyota Motor Philippines Corp. has enhanced the comfort and styling features of the Previa minivan to strengthen its lead in the commercial vehicle segment.

The 2009 Previa's exterior is refreshed with an upgraded chrome radiator grille, trendier color-keyed front bumper, a redesigned rear garnish and rear combination LED (light-emitting diodes) lamps. It also now has advanced HID headlights, similar to the one used in the Camry, with an adaptive front-lighting system that helps improve visibility during night-time driving.

Inside, the seven-seater Previa features an eight-way power driver seat, dual armrests and leather seat materials for the full-option model.

The 2009 model also gets finely-crafted details like the center panel painted with wood trim and the modified optitron meter gauge for a more modern look.

The new Previa is powered by a four-cylinder, inline DOHC, 16-valve engine with integrated VVT-i technology. With a maximum output of 170hp at 6,000rpm and a maximum torque of 224Nm at 4,000rpm to go with the minivan's latest interior and exterior modifications.
