Universal Motors Corporation, the Philippine importer and distributor of Nissan light commercial vehicles (Murano, Patrol Royale, Patrol Super Safari, Urvan, Navara and Frontier Bravado) has announced the launch of its new official website: Nissan Philippines (www.nissanphilippines.com.ph). This is not related to Nissan Motor Philippines, the distributor of Nissan passenger cars, whose website is at www.nissan.com.ph.
"We know how crucial the Internet is to communicating with our customers and clients, which is why we decided to update our cyberspace presence with this new website," said UMC brand marketing and communications assistant manager Justine Santos-Sugay during an intimate round-table dinner with the motoring media.
A cool feature of the website that is sure to be a hit among car enthusiasts is the 360-degree interior view of UMC's product line. This allows for a visual check of the vehicles from every possible angle inside their cabin, as though the website visitor were right on-board the cars doing a personal inspection.
Every Nissan-UMC dealership can also be located easily via the embedded Google Maps.
"We want to offer our customers all the information they need, and also provide them all the possible sensory experiences available on the Internet," explained Santos-Sugay.
Finally, there's the link to the Nissan Heritage Collection, an online museum that provides visitors information on and images of every single Nissan automobile produced from the 1920s up to the present.
Pretty neat website. Check it out.
