As part of its efforts to introduce next-generation luxury EVs to Southeast Asia, AITO recently hosted a four-day Cyber Tour in Chongqing, China—the country’s ‘Cyber City’—giving a select group of Philippine motoring media, influencers, and key opinion leaders a firsthand experience of the brand’s technologies and innovations. Held from July 15 to 18, the tour spotlighted AITO’s future-forward approach to mobility, intelligence, and sustainable manufacturing, underscoring what the brand calls “the new era of intelligent luxury.”
Driven by AITO’s industry-leading Intelligence, the in-depth tour immersed the delegates in Chongqing's unique ‘cyber’ culture while presenting a highly differentiated brand image for AITO, which stands for ‘Adding Intelligence to Auto.’

The Cyber Tour with AITO showcased AITO’s core competitiveness with an immersive Super Factory visit and an intelligent driving and intelligent cockpit experience. The participants tested the capabilities of three AITO models: The AITO M5, a Smart-tech Sport SUV that offers a blend of technology, exhilarating performance, and design; the AITO M7, an Intelligent Full-size Comfort SUV that delivers a fusion of advanced technology, luxurious comfort, and refined design; and the flagship AITO M9, the All-scenario Intelligent SUV that redefines modern mobility by seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technology, ultra-luxurious comfort, and unmatched performance.

The participating journalists experienced firsthand how the new era of luxury vehicles is being redefined by intelligence, innovation, and a user-centric approach beyond the traditional demand for exceptional design, speed, power, agility, and efficiency. AITO has enhanced both passive and active safety features to be more robust and intelligent and included an industry-leading, all-scenario intelligent safety system—delivering comprehensive solutions that cover power safety, data security, health protection, privacy safeguarding, and cybersecurity. The participants experienced AITO’s innovation, intelligence, and advanced technologies such as the intelligent cockpit, the intelligent advanced driving-assist systems, the intelligent chassis, and the intelligent safety ecosystem that delivers all-around protection for people, vehicles, and property. AITO also showcased its intelligent aftersales service system, such as the vehicle history record (VHR), which creates a maintenance and support system for the vehicle’s entire life cycle, and over-the-air (OTA) updates that enable system upgrades with just one click and without visiting a service center.

Driving around Chongqing City, the participants experienced AITO’s advanced Range-Extender Technology that enables electric power for city driving and fuel for cross-city long trips, offering flexibility between electricity and fuel without any range anxiety. Throughout the drive, the journalists experienced AITO’s quiet cabin, smooth acceleration, and quick response, in addition to the intelligent range extension’s ability to learn their driving habits, charging options, and road conditions, which allowed the vehicle to customize its strategy to optimize battery charging and power generation.

The participants experienced AITO’s industry-leading intelligent driving technology that can be activated on highways, rural areas, and urban roads across China with simple steps, where the user can arrive at the designated location without switching to a different mode, offering a revolutionary experience of ‘one-touch arrival.’ Ultimately, the Filipino participants learned about the vehicle’s ‘end-to-end’ capabilities that can handle complex scenarios like roundabouts, narrow U-turns, gateways, multi-level garage ramps and the like, making daily commutes more convenient, efficient, and safer.
SERES Super Factory: A New Benchmark in Automotive Manufacturing

The Filipino journalists were given an exclusive tour of the 1,000,000sqm SERES Super Factory with its cutting-edge ultra-high efficiency automotive production and advanced intelligent manufacturing technology that features high-level automation, intelligent logistics, smart robotics, data-driven optimization, and fully integrated die-casting equipment. At the Quality Assurance Section, the Filipino journalists witnessed all-around high-quality and intelligent controls with the use of artificial intelligence, 100-million-level 3D models, millimeter-level precision, and real-time monitoring and alerts.
Dubbed as the ‘Super Green Factory,’ the SERES Super Factory is a pioneer in sustainable manufacturing, designed with a strong commitment to environmental protection. It uses low-carbon processes and new energy sources, such as solar and thermal, as well as autonomous container trucks for vehicle transportation, to achieve zero vehicle emissions across the facility. Its Green Manufacturing Technology and Green Waste Management reduce water use and wastewater and remove exhaust, dust, and paint exhaust VOCs while recycling approximately 200,000 tons of water annually, establishing a new benchmark for smart and green vehicle production.
