This month in Top Gear's 'Old School' section

We have a very special restoration job featured in this month's Top Gear magazine. Even if both of my cars are Mitsubishis, I have a soft spot for old Toyota Corollas. If I were to choose one, I wouldn't mind doing an all-out restoration of a Toyota Corolla Sprinter just like Rene Isaguirre's. I first met Rene two years ago, and I was fascinated by his car. If you check out my previous posts featuring the Cartistics car club, you can't miss the beat-up old Sprinter that belongs to him. Now, the transformation is complete. Here's a shot from the front. That grille really stands out thanks to its sharp corners. There's nothing quite like it. Have a look at this classic rear end. This car just looks so good to me. This is Rene with his wife and young daughter. His Sprinter won the Best Old School award at the most recent Manila International Auto Show. You can see the trophy in the background.
